Generator connection for selected appliances
Include their equipment information and normal operating needs. Transfer equipment and generator capacity should be considered against that list, with optional loads identified separately.
Explain the minimum operation you need during an outage. Essential equipment and optional convenience use can then be discussed as distinct priorities rather than an undefined total.
What must run for the appliance to be useful?
A priority appliance may depend on controls or related equipment supplied elsewhere. Its main nameplate is only part of the operating plan.
List essential functions and optional convenience loads separately. MKB can review the transfer arrangement for that list and identify connection work, rather than treating every circuit or the entire normal household workload as an implied backup requirement.
