Scheduling work in an occupied electrical area
Explain occupancy needs and restricted equipment areas before scheduling. A practical work sequence should account for the actual connection points, not assume the entire installation is freely accessible.
Identify equipment that cannot be interrupted casually. Installation access and connection work should be coordinated with those operational needs before a work date is treated as settled.
Which connection tasks affect normal operation?
Work at new equipment can be separate from alterations at existing distribution. The latter may interrupt loads outside the immediate installation area.
Identify those supplies and any operational constraints before fixing the sequence. The scope should distinguish electrical work from building access and occupant preparations, rather than imply that backup installation can always proceed without affecting the normal supply.
Details to include with this request
