Visible equipment and finish restoration
Discuss preferred positions with photographs of the surrounding areas. The electrical connection, equipment access and restoration work should be defined together instead of choosing a location solely for appearance.
Identify finish work that another contractor will handle. A completed electrical connection and fully restored surrounding surfaces should be described as separate scope responsibilities.
How do appearance choices affect wiring?
A preferred equipment position may require a different route through finished surfaces. The visual outcome and connection work should be reviewed together before positions are treated as settled.
Compare the surfaces affected and any alternative routing. The scope should distinguish electrical completion from restored walls, trim or exterior finishes, with the responsible trade identified for work outside the electrical installation.
