Defining the electrical portion of a remodel
Provide marked drawings and a list of selections. A useful electrical estimate should identify those items and any exclusions instead of rely only on a room count.
Ask for circuits, equipment connections and device changes to be identified. A room count alone is not a clear description of the electrical installation being priced.
What should the electrical portion identify?
A remodel can combine new wiring, relocated devices and reuse of existing circuits. Those tasks have different boundaries from the general construction package.
List the intended equipment and current layout before comparing proposals. MKB can describe the actual electrical work and exclusions, making it easier to identify missing connections instead of assuming every room-based estimate includes the same finished installation.
