Grouping outdoor circuits at a useful location
Identify lighting, equipment and controls separately. A suitable feeder arrangement and usable equipment position matter more than simply shortening the final circuit runs.
Show where the outdoor equipment will be used and how controls should operate. Provide product information and identify irrigation or other planned site work that may affect routing before positions are agreed.
What should local outdoor distribution accomplish?
A useful destination panel serves an identified equipment group. Shorter final circuits alone do not establish that another feeder and enclosure are the best arrangement.
Review the setting and desired control behavior with the selected loads. The proposal should distinguish power distribution from individual controls and connections, keeping the completed outdoor installation understandable beyond the panel location.
