Confirming requirements for the backup installation
Requirements depend on the installation and location. A neighbor's generator setup or the equipment's retail package does not establish the complete scope for another property.
Include existing distribution information where available. Local requirements and an appropriate connection plan depend on the actual installation, not merely the generator's retail rating.
Why evaluate the installation as a whole?
A generator's retail rating does not define the transfer method, supplied circuits or conditions along the connection route. Those details need project-specific review.
MKB can identify the electrical scope and coordination needed for the actual address. Keep local process questions tied to that installation, rather than copy another property's equipment arrangement or assume the product selection establishes every connection requirement.
