Coordinating lighting with a redesigned utility area
Include the proposed equipment layout with the lighting plan. The estimate should coordinate routes and maintenance access instead of treating every exterior wall as equally available for new lighting.
Mark proposed service areas around mechanical equipment on the drawing supplied by the relevant contractor. Identify nearby windows and seating too, so practical access and unwanted light can be considered together.
Where might lighting and equipment compete?
A fixture position or cable route can conflict with access needed for other installed equipment. A clear wall during construction may not stay clear in the final layout.
Use the mechanical and lighting plans together before choosing locations. MKB can define electrical connections while preserving the agreed service areas, keeping the decorative effect and practical maintenance arrangements part of the same layout discussion.
