Evaluating loads in separate property areas
List those loads explicitly. Service capacity should be discussed for the equipment supplied by that service, not inferred from the main home's panel directory alone.
Describe automatic and occasional loads as well as everyday appliances. Equipment not operating during evaluation may still be part of the intended supplied installation.
What does a property-wide load picture show?
The main house directory may not describe equipment beyond a downstream feeder. Tools or automatic support loads elsewhere can still draw from the same incoming service.
Organizing loads by source and destination helps the evaluation follow the connected installation. Any proposed service enlargement should then remain distinct from feeder improvements or equipment circuits needed in the other areas.
