Accent lighting around planting and outdoor seating
Identify the features to highlight and where people sit or look outward. Fixture position and aiming should consider those viewpoints rather than direct light toward occupants simply to make the planting appear brighter.
Show seating and viewing directions on the plan. A fixture aimed successfully at a feature can still be distracting from a nearby chair or window.
What does the light look like from a seat?
A fixture can illuminate a feature while exposing its source directly to someone nearby. The viewing direction matters as much as the surface being highlighted.
Review seating and planting together before choosing positions or aiming. MKB can discuss coverage and controls for the selected effect, keeping decorative goals distinct from any separate practical access lighting required by the owner.
