Describing buildings that share a mailing locality
Provide the project address and available property information. Then describe the existing supply and requested work at each affected building.
What identifies the electrical work area?
Two buildings sharing an address can receive power in different ways. One may have its own incoming service, while another receives a feeder from the house. Those arrangements create different upstream boundaries for new work; adding a circuit inside one building does not identify or change the supply of the other.
Organize the project by physical destination, present source and requested connection. Include equipment identification where safely available and distinguish verified records from uncertain labels. This allows proposals to describe work at the service, between buildings and inside each space separately, rather than rely on a mailing description as though it were an electrical connection diagram.
