Lighting around outdoor equipment access
Mark the equipment and approach route. The layout should consider people using the area and maintain access to the equipment rather than place fixtures only for symmetry.
Photograph the approach from its normal walking direction. Mark steps, changes in level and control locations so the discussion addresses visibility for the person using the equipment after dark.
What needs to be visible during use?
The approach and equipment service point can require different light from the surrounding landscape. A symmetrical fixture layout may not follow that practical activity.
Mark where people stand and how they reach the equipment. MKB can discuss targeted fixtures and controls, keeping electrical routing coordinated with continued equipment access rather than placing lighting solely for its daytime appearance.
