Lighting an entrance to a small business
Describe operating hours and the areas involved. The electrical scope should identify fixtures and controls without implying that every exterior-lighting request includes a complete signage installation.
Separate entrance illumination, decorative accents and sign connections in the request. Those purposes may involve different products and equipment responsibilities within the business project.
What does the entrance need to accomplish?
People approaching the door need useful visibility, while a decorative accent or sign can involve different products and connection responsibilities. One fixture package does not automatically address all three.
Define those purposes before selecting equipment. MKB can identify the supply and control work for the agreed scope, keeping product supply and any separate sign-related tasks explicit rather than implied by general entrance-lighting language.
Details to include with this request
