Feeder access through finished rooms
Identify finished ceilings, cabinets and other obstacles between the source and destination. Clarify restoration responsibilities so a distribution estimate does not hide access work in unrelated spaces.
Identify where exposed routing is acceptable, if anywhere. That preference can affect access and restoration but should be agreed as part of the proposed installation.
Why review areas outside the panel location?
The feeder must reach a suitable upstream source, potentially crossing rooms outside the proposed work area. Concealed access can therefore affect the project beyond the destination.
Compare the full route and any acceptable exposed sections before pricing is finalized. Openings and finish restoration should be identified so the owner understands the complete installation impact.
